Electrical connection
Electrical ground is required for this appliance.
Recommended grounding method:
For your personal safety, this appliance must be
grounded. This AC includes a power
supply cord with a three-prong grounding plug. To
minimize possible electrical shock hazards:
-The cord must be plugged into a mating
three-prong grounding-type wall receptacle;
-It must be grounded in accordance with the
National Electrical Code (ANSI/NFPA 70-
latest version); and
-all local codes and ordinances must be followed.
If a mating three-prong grounding-type wall receptacle is
not available, it is the responsibility of the consumer
to have a properly grounded three-prong wall receptacle
installed by a qualified electrician.
OBSERVE ALL LOCAL GOVERNING CODES
AND ORDINANCES.
DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES,
REMOVE THE GROUNDING PRONG FROM
THE POWER SUPPLY CORD.

grounding wire is used, it is recommended that a
qualified electrician determines that the grounding
path is adequate and not interrupted by plastic,
non-metallic gaskets, or other insulating materials.
