CPU 2
The 2 control units are treated by the programmer as 2 separate controllers. An
IEC program is loaded into each control unit. The programs work in parallel and
asynchronously.
Internal communication between the 2 control units is ensured by a serial
interface (2Mbps) by means of message exchanges between the user programs.
