11.7 Teaching position in to the 2-axis handling module with stepper motor

The positions of the 2-axis handling module with stepper motor can be adjusted or new positions can be set
up. The steps required to this end are explained below with the help of screenshots and photos.
The motor controller parameters are configured such that hazard-free operation of
the module is possible to the greatest possible extent. This is implemented by
means of force limiting to 2%. The motor controller's parameters can only be
changed after entering a password, in order to prevent undesired changes.
If the parameters need to be changed, the user does so at his or her own risk. It's
important to read the operating instructions issued by Festo AG & Co. KG before
changing the parameters.

1. Establish connection to the controller.
Plug in the Ethernet cable between the PC and the motor controller.
2. Start FCT software.
Caution
Create a new project in order to avoid overwriting data which has already been saved to the controller.
By creating a new project, the resultant data are saved to the PC.
