9-2 Démontage
Mise hors service de la pompe (voir §7-6)
Fermer les vannes aspiration et refoulement
Dans le cas de travaux sur le moteur, observer les instructions
et prescriptions du fabricant moteur
Attendre que la température du corps permette sa

Vidanger la pompe en enlevant le bouchon rep. 15
L'huile ou tous autres liquides vidangés devront être recyclés ou
stockés selon les règles en vigueur.
Si la pompe véhicule des produits nocifs, toxiques, ou
dangereux, les pièces en contact doivent être nettoyées et
décontaminées avant leur démontage.
Si besoin est, démonter les appareils de mesure et de contrôle
Avant tout démontage, il est conseillé de repérer les
pièces.
Démonter le corps de pompe en dévissant les écrous de volute,
séparer la volute du reste de la pompe.
Desserrer l'écrou de roue, démonter la roue qui peut-être vissée
ou clavettée (voir plan coupe)
Retirer le plateau rep 2 et le radiateur rep 49
Dévisser le radiateur du plateau
Relever la côte de calage de la garniture mécanique
Dévisser les vis de la butée de garniture, la retirer de l'arbre.
Retirer de l'arbre la bague tournante de la garniture
Dévisser l'entretoise du moteur puis l'enlever avec le grain fixe
à l'intérieur
Enlever le grain fixe de l'entretoise

TRAVAUX APRES LE DEMONTAGE
Réaliser les travaux suivants :
Tout d'abord, nettoyer toutes les pièces, les bagues d'usure et
les plans de joints avec le solvant approprié.
• Contrôler l'usure, l'état de surface des roues et de l'arbre.
• Contrôler la concentricité de l'arbre (et chemise d'arbre).
• Contrôler l'état de surface de la portée de joint et du
logement des grains fixes (corps, plateau, boîtier)

REMONTAGE
Le remontage de la pompe se fait dans l'ordre inverse
du démontage, le plan d'ensemble et la nomenclature servent
de repère.
Il est nécessaire d'utiliser systématiquement une
pochette de joints neufs, les joints en graphite ne doivent être
utilisés qu'une seule fois.
Remplacer les pièces endommagées par des pièces
de rechange d'origine constructeur.
11-1 Remontage de la garniture
Cette opération doit être réalisée par du personnel spécialisé et
ayant des connaissances sur les garnitures.
Les
garnitures
remplacées dans leur ensemble.
Il est recommandé d'éviter de monter des pièces neuves avec
d'autres usagées ou réparées.
Les rénovations de garnitures doivent être réalisées par le
fabricant lui seul et seulement s'il le juge possible.
Après le démontage de la garniture endommagée et de ses
composants (pièces tournantes sur l'arbre et fixes dans leur
logement) procéder de la manière suivante :

9-2 disassembling
Shut down the pump (see section 7.5).
Close the inlet and outlet valves.
In the case of work to be performed on the motor, follow the
prescriptions and instructions of the motor's manufacturer.
Wait until the body temperature drops enough to
allow it to be handled.
Drain the pump by removing the drain plug (ref. 15).
The drained oil or other drained liquids should be recycled or
stored according to the rules and regulations in force r.
If the pump transports harmful, toxic or hazardous products,
those parts in contact with the product(s) must be cleaned and
decontaminated before they are dismounted.
As necessary, dismount the control and measurement devices.
Before proceeding with the removal operation, it is
advisable to identify and mark the parts.
Remove the pump body by loosening and removing the casing
nuts, and then separate the casing from the rest of the pump ;
Loosen and remove the impeller nut, and then remove the
impeller – it may be screwed or pinned (refer to the cross
section drawing) ;
Remove the cover (ref 2) and the radiator (ref 49)
Unscrew the radiator from the cover
Remove the shim from the mechanical packing
Loosen and remove the packing screws, remove them from the
shaft
Remove from the shaft the rotating ring
Unscrew the spacer from the motor
Remove the seat from the spacer

Perform the following work:
First of all, clean all the parts, rings and joint / seal planes with
an appropriate solvent or cleaning product.

and the housing of the fixed grains (body, plate, box) ;

The pump is reassembled by reversing the order in which it was
dismounted, the assembly drawing and the parts list used for
reference (item nos.).
A bag of new seals, joints and gaskets will have to
systematically opened and used to replace those in service
since the latter items may be used only once.
Replace damaged parts by original equipment manufacturer
(OEM) spare parts.
11-1 Re-assembling the mechanical seal
This operation must be performed by specialized personnel
having a good working knowledge of mechanical seals.

Damaged mechanical seals must be completely replaced in
their entirety.
We recommend avoiding the installation of new parts with worn
or repaired parts.
Mechanical seals must be renovated by the manufacturer alone
and only by him if he deems it possible.
After removing a damaged mechanical seal and its parts
(rotating parts on the shaft and attached in their housing),
proceed as follows:

AFTER-DISASSEMBLING WORK
Check for wear and surface condition of the shaft and
Check the concentricity of the shaft (and shaft sleeve)
Check the condition of the joint's supporting surface
RE-ASSEMBLING
Energetically clean shaft and housing of fixed grain ;
