• to use the lanyard with shock absorber if the fall
clearance is not sufficient with respect to a falling

• to use the lanyard with shock absorber if any obstacle
GB
is located along the fall path or on the swinging path
when used in a horizontal configuration.
• to use the lanyard with shock absorber if you are not
in good physical condition.
• to use the lanyard with shock absorber if you are

with it.
• to use the lanyard with shock absorber to secure the
load of materials.
• to secure the lanyard with shock absorber to a
structural anchor point with a strength less than 12 kN,
or which may be assumed as such.
• to use the lanyard with shock absorber as a means
of slinging.
• to use the lanyard with shock absorber in horizontal
configuration if the radius of the edge does not comply,
or in the presence of burrs.
• to use the lanyard with shock absorber in a horizontal
configuration if a specific rescue plan has not been set
up beforehand.
• Insofar as possible, the structural anchorage point
should be located above the operator. The structural
anchoring point must be able to resist a minimum of
12 kN.
• The connection to the anchoring point or to the
structure must be done using an EN 362 connector.
• For the connection of the fall-arrest system to the fall-
arrest harness, refer to the instructions of the harness
and the fall-arrest system in order to use the proper
anchorage point and the proper attaching procedure.
Before and during use, it is necessary to plan out
how possible rescue can be efficiently and safely
conducted, within less than 15 minutes. Beyond this
time, the operator is in danger.

must be washed in clean cold water using a synthetic-
fibre brush and, if necessary, a washing product for
delicate fabrics.
When the lanyard with shock absorber becomes wet
during use or washing, it must be left to dry naturally in
