Moving the Platinum Lift Chair
WARNING
– To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock,
serious injury or death:
• Before moving a Platinum Series chair, disconnect electrical plug from the wall outlet.
Moving the chair requires two people, one on each side of the chair lifting the frame
near the base; refer to the Operating Instructions online. Only move the product by
the lower arm frame, never by the legrest or reclining back.
Moving the Platinum lift chair requires two people, one on each side of the chair. The back can
be removed for handling ease; refer to the Back Removal Instructions on preceding page.
1. Unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet.
2. Disconnect the 120 volt power cord from the power supply, and disconnect the power supply
from the power supply connector at the base of the unit. Refer to the Assembly Instructions.
3. Secure hand wand by carefully tucking it between the back and seat (or arm and seat if the
back is removed).
4. Have two people stand to the side of the chair (one on each side) and grip the lower arm
frame to lift and move the chair.

WARNING
– To reduce the risk of serious injury:
• Provide a clear path for operation of the back and legrest. Place tables and area rugs
at a distance to allow the legrest to fully extend without rubbing or interference.
To place your reclining unit the proper distance from the wall, fully recline the unit and leave
a minimum of 2" of space between the top of the back and the wall.
