If you are unsure whether
you have a negative ground
system, consult the car, boat or
other vehicle manual.
• If the external DC power source
drops below 11V, the Astral will
switch to internal battery.
Notes:
• When powered from the Adapter, the
internal battery of the Astral device
will charge. The Adapter will not
charge the Astral External Battery.
• The vehicle's electrical system must
be in good condition. Have it checked
by an auto electrician if in doubt.
• If you notice any unexpected changes
in the device, signs of degradation
that affect performance or if the
enclosure is broken, discontinue use
and contact your Health Care Provider.
• For any serious incidents that occur in
relation to this device, these should
be reported to ResMed and the
competent authority in your country.
Using the Adapter
Refer to the illustration at the beginning.
1. Plug the connector end of the Adapter
into the DC input socket of the
Astral device.
2. Start the car.
3. Plug the adaptor plug end of the
Adapter into the vehicle DC socket.
4. The light on the Adapter will glow
green when the connection is made.
The DC mains LED Indicator on the
Astral device will also be illuminated.
5. Power on the Astral device by pressing
the green power on/off switch at the
back of the device.
Note: The Therapy on/off LED indicator
on the Astral device will display a
constant green when the Astral device is
powered on but not ventilating.

Cleaning
If necessary, wipe the outside of the
Adapter with a clean cloth.
