Onscreen Keyboard

You can also enter text using the onscreen keyboard. The onscreen
keyboard displays automatically on the screen when you need to
enter text. To manually display the keyboard, simply touch a text field
where you want to enter text.
Shift Key
Touch once to capitalize
the next letter you type.
Double-tap for all caps.
Space Key
T9 Mode Key
Touch to turn on or off the T9 text entry mode.
NOTE: To change the keyboard orientation, turn the phone sideways or
upright. The keyboard rotates to take best advantage of the new phone
orientation. Many people fi nd the larger horizontal onscreen keyboard
easier to use.
You can control whether the screen changes orientation
automatically when you turn the phone. See "Orientation" under
"Sound & display settings screen" on page 208.
