Operating Instruction
If customer number input is activated, the
screen with the input field for the custom-

er number or vehicle registration number is
displayed after pressing the OK button.

The alphanumeric input field has 7 positions.
Use the Up and Down buttons to edit the in-
dividual positions and press the OK button
to confirm the selection of the individual cell
and to jump to the next cell.
Press the OK button again once you have
edited the last cell to print out the inspection
report.
3.8 24 V system
For connection to 2 batteries installed in se-
ries, the following message is displayed.
24V BATTERY
Disconnect the batteries from the vehi-
cle electrical system and test each of them
while they are separated from each other.
The bridge cable must not necessarily be
disconnected in this case.
During the 24 V starting and charge system
test, the appliance must be connected to the
24 V battery block (the red pliers to the pos-

itive pole of one battery and the black pliers
to the negative pole of the other battery op-
posite the bridge).
Select test type "In-vehicle". The message
"24V battery" is displayed for 3 seconds.
Ignore this message. The battery test is au-
tomatically skipped after 3 seconds and the
starting test is commenced. The test proce-
dure after this point corresponds to the 12 V
test procedure.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Replacing the appliance battery

1. Remove the outer protective rubber cover
to access the battery compartment.
2. Unscrew the fixing screw and open the
cover of the battery compartment.
3. Insert a new 9 V block battery, mount the
battery compartment cover and put the
protective rubber cover on again.
