3.5 Starting test

CAUTION
Please always pay attention and
ensure that you route the signal
cables so that these are not able to
get into the belt drive at any point!
CRANKING TEST
START ENGINE
Start the engine after being prompted by the
testing unit. The test will be automatically
ended and the test result displayed.

A starting voltage under 9.6 V is classed as
abnormal, whereas a voltage over 9.6 V is
classed as OK.
The appliance outputs the test result incl.
starting voltage, starting current (optional)
and starting time.

button to proceed to the alternator test.

3.6 Alternator and rectifier diode test

The following message appears after the OK
button has been pressed.
CHARGING TEST?
Press the OK button again to start the alter-
nator test.
NOTE
Please do not turn off the engine
and switch all consumers off prior
to the test.
