Commissioning, operation and adjustment

Î Establish the power supply
The HKM3 runs an initialisation phase during which the operating control lamp
flashes. Afterwards, the module begins normal operation and indicates the meas-
ured values of the sensors connected.
If the power supply is established but the module is not yet connected to and

registered in the controller, the HKM3 works like a display unit without control

function.

The HKM3 must be registered in the controller connected!
Î All adjustments for the HKM3 must be made in the corresponding
menu of the controller connected!
Î Consult the controller manual in order to use all functions of the
HKM3!
Î Connect the HKM3 to the controller via the VBus
Î Register the HC module in the options menu of the controller.
All adjustment and display values are listed in the corresponding (HC-Module)
menu of the controller.
If more than 1 HKM3 is connected to one controller, each HKM3 must be assigned
with a sub-address. To do so, proceed as follows in the HKM3 menu:
Select the menu channel SA by pressing buttons 1 and 2.
Î Press button Ⓢ, the Ⓢ symbol flashes
Î Assign a sub-address to the HKM3 (e. g. 2 for the second, 3 for the third HKM3
connected)
