_ 2 INSTALLING THE SEAT IN THE CAR

Reclining position, GROUP 0

In the reclining position, MATRIX LIGHT must be fitted cross-wise on the back
seats. Decide on which seats after reading the section on:
"Choosing where to install the safety seat".

Unfasten the clamp, to do this, first release the catch by turning the
red lever.
Insert the seat belt between the hold-down plate and the carrycot

and fasten the clamp.

Press the carrycot while tightening the seat belt.
To take the MATRIX LIGHT carrycot out of the vehicle, follow the
same steps in reverse order, release the catch by turning the red
lever, unfasten the aluminium lock and remove the seat belt.
If you observe that the car seat belts are not long enough, you can adjust the following parameters to improve this:
- Recline the backrest of the car seat a little.
- Move the car seat back.
- Adjust the shoulder height regulator of the car seat belts to the lowest position.

Sitting position, GRUPO 0+

The MATRIX LIGHT safety seat must be installed FACING AWAY FROM
THE DIRECTION OF TRAVELLING. Decide on which seat after reading the
"Choosing where to install the safety seat".
section on:
Fasten the 3-point belt.

Place the safety seat on the seat of the vehicle. Put the handle in the

AUTO position, position 3 in diagram 1b.
2f - Pass the abdominal part of the car seat belt through the two front
guides situated on the sides of the frame.
2g- The shoulder belt of the car should be passed behind the safety seat.
2h - Tighten this part of the belt and fasten the locking clip. Make sure
that the seat is firmly fastened by pulling it.
