Due to the reasons mentioned above the water tray must be decalcified at least
once a day as otherwise pitting corrosion at the water tray may be the
consequence. For that purpose, just use a descaler or a water-vinegar-solution.
ATTENTION!
Complaints will not be accepted if the hot dog machine is not decalcified regularly
as described in the instruction manual.
Such complaints are no cases of warranty!
Clean the heating plate and bread sticks with a damp and soft cloth.

Wipe the casing of the device with a damp cloth.

Use soft cloth only and make sure you never use any kind of abrasive agents or

pads, which could scratch the surface.
After the cleaning procedure you should use a soft and dry cloth to wipe dry and

polish the surface.
Make sure the device has been cleaned properly before storing it in a dry place.

6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

o Check the mains connection cable for damage from time to time. Never operate the
device when the cable is damaged. A damaged cable must immediately be replaced
by customer service or a qualified electrician to avoid dangers.
o In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer
service centre. Pay attention to the troubleshooting tips in pt. 7.
o Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should
carry out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the
device yourself.
