o Clean the cover and tray under running water using a gentle cleaning agent and a
soft cloth.
o Always only use a soft cloth, never use abrasive cleansers that could scar the
device.
o For reasons of hygiene, the container should be washed at least twice a day!
Clean the container with warm water with the addition of a gentle cleaning agent.
Rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly.
o In case of units with a drainage tap, keep in mind that this tap needs to be flushed
and rinsed as well. Fill the container with water, adding a gentle cleaning agent,
and wash it with a soft cloth. Let the water flow through the drainage tap. Rinse the
container with pure water, then let it out through the drainage tap. Afterwards, dry
the container with a soft cloth.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock!
Never wash the unit under running water!
Water may enter the interior of the unit and cause an electric shock!
Descaling
o The disadvantageous properties of water, as well as salts, fat and seasonings from
the sausages contribute to an aggressive water content, which may cause a reaction
with the metal. Accordingly, the container should be descaled regularly.
For this purpose, popular, generally available descaling agents or a water-vinegar
solution should be used.
CAUTION!
Lack of regular proper descaling of the device as set forth in the manual
constitutes a reason to reject warranty claims.
Such complaints are not covered by the warranty!

o Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should
carry out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the
device yourself.
