Getting started
▪ Clean the glass jar (2.3), lid (2.2) and closing cap (2.1) on the mixer
attachment before using it for the first time.
▪ Take care not to injure yourself on the sharp blade.
▪ Ensure that the mixer arm on the food processor is lowered into position.
▪ Ensure that all accessories (flat beater, dough hook and whisk) have been
removed before starting mixing.
▪ Note: The mixer function cannot be used at the same time as the appliance's
other functions (beating, etc).
▪ Remove the mixer attachment cover (1) from the mixer arm on the food
processor by turning the recessed grips anticlockwise (Fig. K).
▪ Add the ingredients to the glass jug (2.3) and close it with the lid (2.2) and the
K
closing cap (2.1). Further ingredients may be added by removing the closing
cap (2.1), even while the motor is running.
The closing cap (2.1) in the lid (2.2) can be removed and used as a measuring
cup (10/20/30ml) by turning it anti-clockwise.
Note: Ensure that you do not exceed the maximum filling quantity of 0.8 l.
When processing hot, very runny or slightly foaming food (e.g. milk), we
advise using a max. volume of 0.5l and a max. temperature of 40°C.
Note: Never operate the mixer attachment when it is empty.
▪ Place the mixer attachment in the holder and lock it into place by turning it
L
clockwise (Fig. L).
▪ Select the desired speed (1-8) on the speed controller (10) and start the
appliance. Start at a low speed and increase if necessary.
▪ To use the pulse function, select PULSE on the speed controller (10). The motor
operates at maximum speed while the speed controller (10) is set to the pulse
setting. The maximum runtime must not exceed one minute.
▪ As soon as the desired result has been achieved, switch the speed controller
(10) to the Off position (0). Only then should you remove the jug.
▪ Warning: risk of injury!! Always wait for the blades to come to a complete
standstill before removing the lid. Do not reach into the mixer attachment
before the mains plug has been unplugged. Completely empty the glass jar
after use. Do not leave any liquid in the jug.
M
▪ Place the cover of the mixer attachment (1) back on the mixer arm of the
food processor and turn the recessed grips clockwise (Fig. M).

Crushing ice cubes
Insert a maximum of 6 ice cubes and close the glass jug (2.3) with the lid (2.2)

few seconds and then reset it to the Off position (0). As soon as the ice cubes
have fallen back to the bottom of the glass jug (2.3), you can switch on the pulse
setting again for a few seconds. Repeat the process until the crushed ice has the
desired consistency.
Note: For more homogeneous results, add some water to the ice cubes.
Holder for optional accessories
Optionally available accessories can be connected to the front of the appliance

and remove it. You can now connect individual accessories in accordance with
the user manual.
Replace the accessory cover (4) by placing it in the centre of the connector for
