Keep in mind that during use of the glass-ceramic top the glass surface in the cooking areas increases considerably in
temperature and therefore act acordingly.
It is recommended to use containers with flat bottoms since those with concave or convex bottoms increase the cooking
time and energy consumption.
Indications:
Every hotplate is connected to an energy adjuster which allows you to select among 6 different temperatures. It is
recommended to use the highest temperatures for the first cookings.
-Every hotplate is equipped with a temperature limiting device that intervenes when the temperature reached can
damage the glass.
-When the glass surface is heated the residual heat pilot light turns on, corresponding to the working hotplate. This
indicator will not turn off for as long as the glass keeps a high temperature even with the hotplate off, in order to
prevent the danger of burns.
Warnings:
Do not use pans or any container with aluminium bottoms or coated with tin.
Do not use terracotta pans because they can break or chip and become not so hygienic. It is recommended to use
stainless steel pans with flat, smooth bottoms having a diameter suitable for the heating area. If cast-iron pans are used
make sure not to make them slide on the glass in order to avoid any scoring.
Make sure that the bottom of the pans is thoroughly dry before placing them on the top.
Prevent the glass from getting hit above all by objects with corners and points.
Make sure never to cover the glass with sheets of aluminium paper or similar material, during use.
