2. Intended use
This night light in the form of Tigerente (tigerduck) is the
perfect night-time companion for young and old. The
induction charger technology allows you to charge the
night light safely and without electrical contact.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in
these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable
for damage resulting from improper or careless use.
This device is not intended for use by people (including
children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental skills
or a lack of experience and/or a lack of knowledge, unless
they are supervised by a person who has responsibility for
their safety or they receive instructions from this person
on how to use the device.
Any form of improper use can be dangerous.

3. Safety notes
Warning
• The device must only be used on an alternating current
network and with the voltage specified on the type plate.
• The device must only be used on a mains socket with
a residual-current-operated protective device.
• Do not pull the mains plug out of the mains socket using
the mains cable.
• The device and the mains cable must not come into
contact with hot surfaces or sharp-edged objects.
• Do not wind the mains cable around the device.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable.
• Pull out the mains plug in the case of operational faults,
before the cleaning process and when the charger is not
in use.
• Do not use any additional parts that are not recom-
mended by the manufacturer or offered as equipment.
• Never immerse the device in water or other liquids, and
protect it from all forms of moisture.
• For indoor use only.
• For operation only with a short-circuit-proof safety iso-
lating transformer according to IEC 61558-2-6 or a toys
transformer according to IEC 61558-2-7.
Prior to initial use
Unpacking
Remove all packaging and retain this for storage later.
If you notice any transport damage when unpacking, con-
tact your retailer.
Warning
• Keep packaging material away from children – risk of
suffocation!
• Switch the device off immediately if it is faulty or not
working properly.
• Before use, ensure that the device and accessories
(including mains cable) do not have any visible damage.
Important
• Under no circumstances should you open or repair the
device yourself, as faultless functionality can no longer
be guaranteed thereafter. Failure to comply will invali-
date the warranty.
• For repairs, please contact customer service or an
authorised retailer.
