Finally fi x the cooker hood to the wall using the two lower
safety perforations "P".
• Mounting the connection tubes (optional) - (Fig.3)
Carry out the 4 perforations (G-H) respecting the indicated
measurements. Use screws and anchors suitable to the type
of wall (e.g.: cement, plaster, etc.) Block the bracket "Z" to the
wall (Fig.3-6). Position the two coupled connectors vertically
on the cooker hood. Fix the connector "F" using the 2 perfo-
rations "H" (Fig.3). Slide the connecter "E" upwards and lock
into place laterally to the "Z" bracket using the appropriate
screws (Fig.6).
• Transforming the cooker hood from suction version to
fi lter version - (Fig.5)
To perform this transformation (which is still possible even
after use in the suction version), then request from local dealer,
if not previously included, a series of active carbon fi lters. The
active carbon fi lters serve as air purifi ers for the air that will be
recycled into the environment via the perforations situated at
the front of the cooker hood. The fi lters are not washable or
regenerative and must be replaced on average every 4 months
with regular use. The saturation of the active carbon depends
on the length of time of use of the cooker hood, from the type
of cooking and the regular cleaning of the anti-grease fi lter.
The fi lter "C" must be placed on the suction group situated
inside the cooker hood and centered by rotating the fi lter
clockwise for about 90° until it locks into place. Remove the "G"
grill in order to carry out this operation. Close the appropriate
upper and lower air exit covers. Rotate the "L" lever from the
"A" position to the "F" position. The cooker hood is then ready
for operation in fi lter version mode.
• Centralized exhausting version
This version is used in habitations
systems. The switch controls the opening and closing of a
valve via a thermoelectric device. Turning the switch to the
ON position, after 60 seconds, will eff ect the opening of the
valve to a 90° rotation permitting the suction of the stale air
externally. Turning the switch to the OFF position, after 100
seconds, will eff ect the closing of the valve.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

• We recommend that the cooker hood is switched on before
any food is cooked.
We also recommend that the appliance is left running for
15 minutes after the food is cooked, in order to thoroughly
eliminate all contaminated air.
The eff ective performance of the cooker hood depends on
constant maintenance; the anti-grease fi lter and the active
carbon fi lter both require special attention.
• The anti-grease fi lter is used to trap any grease particles
suspended in the air, therefore is subject to saturation (the
time it takes for the fi lter to become saturated depends on
the way in which the appliance is used).
- To prevent potential fi re hazards, the anti-grease fi lters should
be washed a minimum of every 2 months (it is possible to use
the dishwasher for this task).
- After a few washes, the colour of the fi lters may change. This
does not mean they have to be replaced.
If the replacement and washing instructions are not followed,
the anti-grease fi lters may present a fi re hazard.
• The active carbon fi lters are used to purify the air which is
released back into the room.
The fi lters are not washable or re-usable and must be replaced
1
with centralized suction
at least once every four months.
The active carbon fi lter saturation level depends on the fre-
quency with which the appliance is used, the type of cooking
performed and the regularity with which the anti-grease
fi lters are cleaned.
• Clean the cooker hood frequently, both inside and outside,
using a cloth which has been dampened with denatured
alcohol or neutral, non-abrasive liquid detergents.
• The light on the cooker hood is designed for use during
cooking and not for general room illumination.
Extended use of the light reduces the average duration of
the bulb.
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL RESPONSIBILITY
FOR EVENTUAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY BREACHING THE
ABOVE WARNINGS.
