1.1 Frontseite
1 XLR-Eingangsbuchse DJ MIC (asym.) für den
Anschluß eines DJ-Mono-Mikrofons an Kanal 1
[Bei Anschluß eines DJ-Mikrofons an die 6,3-mm-
Klinkenbuchse MIC (24) auf der Geräterückseite
wird diese Buchse abgeschaltet.]
2 Umschalttaste für die LED-Pegelanzeige (3)
Taste nicht gedrückt (CH 2/CH 3):
Die obere LED-Reihe zeigt den Pre Fader-
Pegel des Kanals 2 an, die untere LED-Reihe
den Pre Fader-Pegel des Kanals 3.
Taste gedrückt (MASTER):
Die LED-Reihen zeigen den Stereo-Ausgangs-
pegel des Masterausgangs (27) an.
3 LED-Pegelanzeige, zeigt – in Abhängigkeit der
Umschalttaste (2) – entweder den Vorhörpegel
der Kanäle 2 und 3 oder den Ausgangspegel am
Summenausgang MASTER (27) an
4 4polige XLR-Buchse LAMP zum Anschluß einer
Pultleuchte (12 V/5 W max.)
5 Eingangsumschalter für die drei Eingangskanäle
Kanal 1:
in Position MIC ist der Mikrofoneingang (1)
bzw. (24) angewählt, in Position LINE der Line-
Eingang (30) des Kanals
Kanäle 2 und 3:
in Position PHONO CD ist der Eingang (31)
des Kanals angewählt [je nach Stellung des
Umschalters (23) ein Line- oder Phono-Ein-
gang], in Position LINE der Line-Eingang (30)
des Kanals

Operating Elements and
Connections
1.1 Front panel
1 XLR input jack DJ MIC (unbalanced) for connec-
tion of a DJ mono microphone to channel 1
[If a DJ microphone is connected to the 6.3 mm
jack MIC (24) at the rear of the unit, this jack will
be switched off.]
2 Selector button for the LED level display (3):
Button not pressed (CH 2/CH 3):
The upper LED row indicates the pre-fader
level of channel 2, the lower LED row indicates
the pre-fader level of channel 3.
Button pressed (MASTER):
The LED rows indicate the stereo output level
of the master output (27).
3 LED level display
Depending on selector button (2), the level dis-
play indicates either the pre-fader listening level
of channels 2 and 3 or the output level at the
master output MASTER (27).
4 4-pole XLR jack LAMP for connection of a con-
sole lamp (12 V/5 W max.)
5 Input selector switches for the three input chan-
nels
Channel 1:
in position MIC the microphone input (1) resp.
(24) is selected, in position LINE the line input
(30) of the channel
Channels 2 and 3:
In position PHONO CD the input (31) of the
channel is selected [according to the position
of the selector switch (23) a line or phono in-
put], in position LINE the line input (30) of the
channel

7 Klangregelung für die Eingangskanäle; beste-
hend aus Tiefenregler (LOW), Mittenregler (MID)
und Höhenregler (HIGH)
8 Tasten PFL zum Abhören der einzelnen Ein-
gangskanäle vor dem jeweiligen Kanalfader (10)
über einen an Buchse (20) angeschlossenen
Kopfhörer
9 Taste TALKOVER für Mikrofondurchsagen über
Kanal 1: ist die Taste gedrückt, werden bei Mikro-
fondurchsagen die Pegel der Kanäle 2 und 3 au-
tomatisch um 12 dB abgesenkt
10 Pegelregler (Fader) für die Eingangskanäle
11 LED-Anzeige BEAT OFFSET; dient als optische
Kontrolle bei der Synchronisation der Taktschlä-
ge der beiden auf Kanal 2 und 3 laufenden Mu-
siktitel
Leuchten der grünen LED:
die beiden Titel laufen synchron, d. h. ihre Takt-
schläge liegen übereinander
Leuchten einer gelben LED:
die beiden Titel laufen fast synchron
Leuchten einer roten LED:
die beiden Titel laufen nicht synchron
12 BPM-Display für Kanal 2:
zeigt die Taktschläge pro Minute (BPM) des
gerade auf Kanal 2 laufenden Musikstückes an

Steht der Crossfader ganz links (Position PFL),

gangskanal abgehört; steht der Crossfader ganz
rechts (Position PGM), wird das laufende Musik-
programm vor dem Masterregler abgehört.

eines Stereo-Kopfhörers (Impedanz ≥ 8 Ω)
6 Gain controls for adjustment of the input amplifi-
cation for channels 1 to 3
7 Equalizer controls for the input channels; con-
sisting of bass control (LOW), midrange control
(MID) and treble control (HIGH)
8 Buttons PFL for monitoring the individual input
channels ahead of the corresponding channel

9 Button TALKOVER for microphone announce-
ments via channel 1: If the button is pressed, the
levels of channels 2 and 3 will automatically be
attenuated by 12 dB in case of microphone an-
nouncements.
10 Level controls (faders) for the input channels
11 LED display BEAT OFFSET serves as optical
control for synchronizing the beats of the two
music titles played on channels 2 and 3
Green LED lights up:
Both titles are synchronized, i. e. their beats
are exactly upon one another.
Yellow LED lights up:
Both titles are almost synchronized.
Red LED lights up:
Both titles are not synchronized.
12 BPM display for channel 2:
indicates the beats per minute (BPM) of the
music piece currently played on channel 2

sition PFL), the input channel selected via button
PFL (8) will be monitored. If the crossfader is in
its extreme right position (position PGM), the cur-
