Connection/Setup

Connecting the appliance
The mains cables for the refrigerator
and for the LCD TV can be
distinguished from each other by the
tags.
S Plug the appliance plug of the LCD
TV into the mains socket.
Inserting the batteries in
the remote control
S Remove the cover from the battery
compartment.
S Insert the batteries (AAA type),
observing correct polarity (+/−),
according to the following diagram.
S Close the cover of the battery
compartment.
If the remote control fails to work even
in close proximity to the LCD TV or if
the LED does not flash when a button
is pressed, replace the batteries.
S Used batteries must be removed.
We cannot be held liable for damage
caused by leaking batteries.
Information!
S Do not use rechargeable batteries.
S The remote control must not come
into contact with any liquid.
S Do not drop or knock the remote
control. This will lead to damage and
subsequent malfunctioning.
S Do not use old and new batteries
together.
S If the remote control will not be used
for some time, remove the batteries.
S Do not expose the remote control to
direct sunlight.
Environmental information
Batteries (even those that do not
contain heavy metals) must not be
disposed of with household waste.
Used batteries must be disposed of in
the used battery collection bins at
commercial and public sector waste
disposal sites.
Connecting external
appliances
Before connecting external appliances
to the LCD TV:
S Turn off the power switch of the
appliance and of the external
appliances.
S Familiarise yourself with the position
and type of inputs.
Connecting the aerial
cable
Connect a 75 W aerial cable to the RF
IN socket of the LCD TV.

Connecting to the video
socket
S Use an RCA video cable to connect
the composite video output of the
external appliance to the "V" socket
of the "AV1" group on the LCD TV.
S Use an RCA audio cable to connect
the audio signal output of the
external appliance to the "L" and "R"
sockets of the "AV1" group on the
LCD TV.
