5.4.2 Water ballast
Jack the wheel up and move the valve to 12 o'clock. Slacken off the valve
retaining locking ring and remove the valve stem. Deflate the tyre.
Connect the valve to tap and interrupt the filling operation from time to time to let
the air bleed out.
When water comes out of the valve, stop the filling operation. The tyre will hold
about 40 litres of water. Replace the valve stem, lock the valve with its locking
ring and inflate the tyre to the required pressure.
The water is drained from the tyre in reverse order with the valve at 6 o'clock.
Warning Ballast the tractor only if necessary and following the instructions given
here. If there is danger of freezing, use appropriate anti-freeze solutions.
5.5 REGISTRATIONS
The information below covers the main registrations to be made. They are
particularly simple but, if you have any problem contact your nearest Goldoni
Assistance Centre.
5.5.1 Registering the clutch cable
From time to time check pedal take-up. If it too much, adjust it with the cable
registration screw on the left wheel hub.
5.5.2 Registering the brake
The main brake and the parking brake work on the rear wheels.
If one of the rear wheels brakes differently from the other or if pedal take-up it too
much, register the brake with link rod fig.18, following these steps:
Detach fork n.3 from the lever by removing pin n.2.
Slacken off nut n.4
Adjust the brake by screwing the fork in or out on the link rod.
Re-tighten the nut and connect the fork to the lever.
Each wheel must be regulated separately.
