4.6 DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

The tractor has a mechanical differential lock on both axles.
To lock the front differential, pull up lever n.8 fig.1. Push the lever down to
release the lock.
To lock the rear differential, the procedure will depend on the type of hydraulic lift
installed:
With a normal raise-lower lift: hold lever n.12 fig.1 up.
With a draft control lift, pull up link rod n.37 fig.1. The differential will be released
automatically when the lever is released.
Only use the differential lock with the creep gear range and reduce
engine revs ahead of time. Do not use the differential lock going
into or in curves. If the differential lock does not release, reduce engine
revs, stop the tractor and release the differential lock by turning the
steering wheel right and left.

4.7 PTO

4.7.1 Rear PTO

The tractor has two rear PTO's operated with the same controls and with the
same speed. The only differences are:
Top PTO: spline 1" 3/8 clockwise rotation
Bottom PTO: spline 26UNI220 anti-clockwise rotation.
The rear PTO's are controlled with lever n.3 fig.1, which has the following
positions:
• Independent (position n.1 fig.7)
• Synchronised (position n.2 fig.7)
Independent PTO
Independent from tractor driving speed and can be operated with the tractor
stopped or moving.
Two speeds are possible.
Fast (V): 879 Rpm with engine at 3000 Rpm
Creep (R): 577 Rpm with engine at 3000 Rpm
Speed is selected as follows:
Lever n.3 fig.1 in the independent position (n.1 fig.7)
Lever n.6 fig.1 in creep (R - V) fig.8 position.
