8.
Pull the spring pin and rotate the lower rear latch until the
pin fi ts through the blower mounting bracket and deck
fl ange.

INSTALLING DRIVE BELT
1.
Install drive belt around pulley on blower.
2.
Rotate belt keeper (A) within 1/8" of blower pulley and
tighten with 1/2" wrench.
3.
Rotate blower idler (B) towards front of blower and place
belt over deck pulley. See illustration for correct belt
routing.
NOTE: It may be necessary to disengage the latch pins and
pivot the blower to aid in installing the drive belt. Reinstall the
latch pins after the belt installation.

4.
Set drive kit deck belt cover (C) over deck pulleys and
reinstall deck shield hardware.
NOTE: Knobs are for North America units. All other units must
use bolts.

COVER ASSEMBLY
NOTE: For ease of assembly, you may wish assistance from
another person for mounting the cover assembly to mower.
1.
Lift and rotate cover to align the cover brackets (A) with
support assembly tubes (B).

2.
Slide the cover down over the support tubes until secure.
3.
Open the bagger top cover and slide the corrugated
bagger tube adapter assembly from the inside of the
bagger top through opening.

4.
Using a ratchet with a 5/16" socket install the twelve
13/16" x 3/4" hex head screws through the front of the
bagger top into the corrugated tube adapter in the torque
pattern shown starting at the bottom right hole and
alternating every other hole until all screws are installed
then torque to 1.69 - 2.25 Nm(15-20 in-lb.).

5.
Install front of corrugated tube to the blower. If hose is too
long when deck is positioned in the lowest cut position the
hose can be rotated in a counterclockwise direction (left-
hand threads) to reduce slack and trimmed from the inside
of the bagger top.
6.
Secure the corrugated tube to the blower assembly by
tightening the provided hose clamp.
ASSEMBLY
CONTAINER INSTALLATION
1.
Install containers on support frame, overlapping containers
at center tube.
2.
Close cover and lock latch handle over support tubes.
NOTE: One container should always overlap the other container
at the center tube.

INSTALLING COUNTERWEIGHTS
1.
Install the counterweight mounting bracket assembly (A)
onto the front frame between the casters parallel to the
front cross brace and pushed as far away from the casters
as possible to prevent interference.
2.
Secure the 1/2"-13 U-bolts (B) under the frame and up
through the bracket ends. Fasten the U-bolts with supplied
nuts in the holes indicated in the image for your specifi ed
unit with a 3/4" socket.

3.
Remove the retainer (C) and washer (D) from the
assembly latch rod (E) and slide the rod out of the bracket.

4.
Set the supplied counterweights (F) into the mounting
bracket, leaving the right-hand side slots open as viewed
while sitting on the unit.

5.
Reinstall the latch rod and secure it with the washer and
retainer pin.
PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
Before using this collection system, parking brake must be
adjusted to 3.18 cm (1.25 in) when parking brake is in the on
position.
1.
Park mower on a level surface.
2.
Apply parking brake.
3.
Using pliers, hold brake cable (A) in location shown in
illustration.

3.
Using a 1/2" wrench, loosen jam nut (B).
4.
Using a 1/2" wrench, turn the 5/16" lock nut (C) in the
proper direction to achieve the correct measurement of
3.18 cm (1.25 in).
5.
Using a 1/2" wrench, tighten jam nut.
6.
Repeat on other side.
