5.13.4 Configurati on
The multiplexer is configured by On Screen Menu and a configuration dip switch on the back of the unit. Refer
to the corresponding manual for an explanation of the various configuration items.
The multiplexer should be configured for RS485 type communication, with an appropriate identification address
and baud rate.
5.13.4.1 OSM Configu ration
Connect the multiplexer directly to the keyboard and a monitor to the MONITOR 1 output.


5.13.5 Dedicated F unctions
As well as the normal procedure for selecting input videos, the Sony multiplexer is provided with numerous
other functions that are activated by pressing key combinations corresponding to the keys on the multiplexer's
local keypad.

The key is used to change the number of the unit responding to the command.
