Electrical connection moving coil core SPK 12
Connect the moving safety contact edges at the gate wing to the moving coil core SPK 12.
For the connection of the coil core use either the supplied crimp connections or solder the cables
directly to the connectors.

Connection of several safety contact edges

To the respective safety contact edge input of the ISK 76-21 electronic one or more contact edges can be
connected. For this the individual safety contact edges have to be connected according to figure 1.
For each contact edge input it is possible to switch 3 contact edges in series. The maximum cable
length for each contact edge input amounts to 2 m.
Before connecting the contact edges switched into series it is recommended to measure the resist-
ance value of the interconnection.

Commissioning / Functional Check

After making all required electrical connections and switching on the supply voltage, the gate has
to be checked for correct operation. To do this, sequentially operate all safety contact edges and
monitor the associated reaction of the ISK 76-21 safety system.
The safety system is to be checked in proper time intervals by qualified personnel, and has to be
documented in such a way that it can be viewed and understood at any time. The requirements of
the EN 1243 and EN 1244 are to be considered and kept.
