Fix mounting brackets Item 3 and Item 4 with three M6 screws Item 19
one of the safety bolts of the mounting bracket as shown in illustration.
The location for installation must be chosen in such a manner that the steel cable Item 5 is free wheeling (required distance
from gate 40 mm) and the individual system components are not cumber the movement of the gate.
In order to ensure the proper functioning of the system, the angle brackets must be secured by three screws that are firmly
tightened.
- Secure the SPK 12 coil core Item 1 with the steel cable thread and the self locking nut with lock washer Item 14 to the mounting
bracket Item 4 and screw on easily with a wrench.
The SPK 12 coil core is normally installed on the side of the main closing edge.
The steel cable should not be twisted when reeled off.
-
Fix the ISK 76-21 Item 2 by means of the four supplied screws Item 17
cable through the coil core.
- Join tension screw
Fix the tension spring with approx. 5 full rotations onto the tension screw.
- Place the steel cable onto the thimble Item 11 and insert into the tension spring. Tighten Steel cable and secure by means
of the cable clamp Item 12.
- Tighten the steel cable by the tension screw unit that the coils of the tension spring are approx. 1 mm apart from each other.
The tension spring should not turn while the cable is tightened.
- Secure the tension spring and the tension screw with one of the two locking nuts.
- Trim the end of the steel cable end in such a manner that the end can be connected to the earthing clip in a gradual bend.
- Strip the PVC cover from the steel cable end and insert and secure the steel cable end in the earthing clip.
- Fix the housing bracket Item 6 with the installed ISK 76-21 onto the mounting bracket Item 7 by means of the two supplied M6
screws Item
13. Secure the angle plate on the ground or to a fixed part of the gate.
The angle plate must be mounted in such a manner that the movement of the gate is not impeded in any way by the ISK 76-21.
