Auxiliary Handle/Depth Stop
Use the machine only with the auxiliary
handle 6.
Loosen the handle by turning to the left. Rotate
the auxiliary handle 6 and adapt to the working
position.
Firmly retighten the handle.
The drilling depth can be set with the depth
stop 7.
The ribbing on depth stop 7 must point upwards.
Impact Stop Switch
Operate the impact stop switch 4 only
when at a standstill.
Set the impact stop switch 4 to the desired posi-
tion:
Hammer drilling
Drilling
Overload Clutch
If the drill becomes caught or jammed, the
drive to the drill spindle is interrupted.
Due to the arising forces always hold the
machine firmly with both hands and
provide for a secure stance.

Change the SDS-plus tool holder
The SDS-plus tool holder can easily be replaced
by the quick clamping drill chuck supplied with
the machine. The quick clamping drill chuck
serves for rapid insertion of the tools without the
SDS-plus (e. g. round shaft drill, screwdriver
bits).
Do not hold the machine by the drill
chuck!
Removal

Grasp the locking ring 3 of the tool holder and
pull firmly in the direction of the arrow. Remove
the tool holder.
After removal protect the tool holder from debris
and keep it clean. Lightly lubricate the engaging
grooves as required.
Mounting
Fully grasp the tool holder. Fit it onto the drill
chuck mounting while rotating, until a distinct
latching noise can be heard. The tool holder locks
automatically.
Check the locking action by pulling on the tool
holder.
Quick clamping drill chuck for
tools with a cylindrical shaft
Tools with a cylindrical shaft can be clamped us-
ing the quick clamping drill chuck.
The quick clamping drill chuck is not
suitable for hammer drilling.
Mounting the Quick Clamping Drill
Chuck
Remove the SDS-plus tool holder. Mount the
quick clamping drill chuck with the drill chuck
adapter in the same way as the SDS-plus tool
holder.
Open the quick clamping drill

Loosen chuck by turning the interlock 8 clock-
wise .
AUF
Open chuck by turning it counter-clockwise.
