Fitted with
: rev. counter, operating hours coun-
ter, voltmeter, oil pressure gauge
and coolant temperature gauge
Operating
: by removable key
All panels have a check lamp for:
pre-heating
and a warning lamp for:
low oil pressure
high coolant temperature
high exhaust temperature
battery charging current
low oil pressure gearbox
All panels have an audible alarm signal and can be used as first, only
or as a second panel.
When the alarm goes off, the skipper should decide whether to stop
the engine or reduce engine speed. A system which automatically
stops the engine when the alarm is triggered, is not recommended
for propulsion engines. Dangerous situations could be created under
certain circumstances if the engine stops suddenly.
3
Panel location
Always install the panel in a position where the skipper can see it
easily.

If the engine panel is installed outsite, the supplied waterproof cover
(for the key lock) must be installed. This prevents water, salt and dirt
entering the lock when the key is removed.
When the engine panel is mounted low in the cockpit, install it in
such a way that the key cannot be damaged, by feet, for example.
Take care that the engine panel is waterproof only on the operating
side. The back of the panel should be installed in a well-protected
and ventilated space. Do not install the panel where serious vibra-
tion can occur.

Panel installation

The panel must be placed in a flat plate.
• Make a hole of the correct size and mount the engine panel with
the 4 screws provided. Use the supplied drilling template. Make
sure the gasket is properly positioned between the engine panel
and bulkhead.
5
Connections
• Connect the universal engine wiring (2 or 3) to the engine's elec-
trical components. Consult the relevant diagram.
• Then connect the engine panel to the engine wiring using the
plug and socket connector (2 or 3).
