2 General
The SD301 system display is an operating
and display device for the Tightening System
300. During a tightening process, it serves to
– display results
– display graphs
– select programs
– change parameters in tightening pro-
grams
– select sequence tests
– parameterize the OK/NOK counter
– provide service support
– analyze errors.
The illuminated, monochrome display is
equipped with a touch screen. Operation
takes place by following menus and touching
soft keys (symbols, text) on the screen.
The SD301 is mounted onto the SB301,
SB305, and SBH301 system boxes with the
display holder that is included in the scope of
delivery. The SD301 can also be mounted on
system boxes with special connectors or
other suitable surfaces using the universal
display holder that is available as an
accessory.
The connection to the SE31x/SEH312 and
KE31x controller components is done using
standard cables that are available in the deliv-
ery program. The SD301 power supply is
also provided via this connection cable and
no other mains connection is required.

2.1 Software version
These instructions describe the functions
contained in software version V1.500.
2.2 Connecting and operating
the SD301
If the SD301 is connected to a SE31x/
SEH312 controller, then only that controller
can be accessed.
However, all tightening channels and the en-
tire KE can be accessed if the SD301 is con-
nected to a KE31x. Only use DLW301,
DLW305 or DLG as connection cables for
the SD301.
Inserting and removing plugs while the power
is on is permitted.
Access to data via the local interface of an
SE31x/SEH312 and via a KE31x is possible
at the same time.
