Notes for a safe use and maintenance
of the machine
This machine must be destined to the use for which
it has been designed. Any other use shall be consi-
dered inappropriate. The manufacturer shall not be
held responsible for any possible damage caused
by an improper use.
The electrical safety of the machine is achieved
only when the machine is correctly connected to
an earth system.
This fundamental requirement shall be verified
by skilled workers. The manufacturer and the in-
staller cannot be held responsible for any possible
damage caused by the lack or inefficiency of the
system earth.
The use of any electrical device implies the obser-
vance of some fundamental rules:
• Do not use the machine with wet hands or feet
or barefoot.
• The machine must not be used by persons (child-
ren included) with reduced physical, sense or men-
tal faculties or lacking experience or knowledge,
unless they are provided with surveillance or ins-
tructions on the machine by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children must be supervised to make sure they
do not play with the machine.
• Disconnect the machine from the electrical sys-
tem and close the water hose before any ordinary
cleaning and maintenance.
• To clean the machine, do not put it under a jet of
water, nor plunge it into the water.
• Do not leave the switched on machine unattended
for long periods (e.g. 1 day).
• In order to ensure the efficiency and correct func-
tioning of the machine, it is necessary to follow the
instructions provided by the manufacturer and to
carry out ordinary maintenance.
• The machine must be installed at a height of at
least 1.2 meters.
• A safe functioning of the machine is obtained by
placing it horizontally (use level) and adjusting its
feet.
• The temperature of the environment surroun-
ding the machine must be between 5° and 30°C.
In case the machine is temporarily placed in an
environment where temperature is below 0°C, con-
tact exclusively a Technical Service that has been
authorized by the manufacturer.
