remove the cover A from the side of the
handle, by turning it 1/4 turn counter-
clockwise (Fig. 9a or 9b).

If the tool is already equipped with the
connectivity module, remove the battery
B, but do not remove the connectivity
module C.

If the connectivity module is installed for
the first time, remove the plastic
placeholder D from the connectivity
module compartment, and place the
connectivity
compartment
orientation (Fig. 9b). Note: Store the
placeholder D in a safe place. Reinsert
the
placeholder
communications module is removed.

Next place new battery B on the top of
the connectivity module with the "+"
polarity facing up (Fig. 9a).

Place the cover A over the battery and
turn it ¼-turn clockwise to lock using a
flat screwdriver or a coin.
USING THE 'BOSCH TOOLBOx' APP

Install the 'Bosch Toolbox' app on your
mobile device or make sure you are running
the latest version of the app.
Launch the 'Bosch Toolbox' app on your
mobile device and click on "My Tools"
icon/tile. Follow the app directions to pair
the tool with the mobile device.

When used with the connectivity module,
the 'Bosch Toolbox' app will allow for the

The alerts button displays any alerts
received from the tool.
