5.6 Switchers Videotec SM42A, Videotec SM82A, Videotec SM84A

5.6.1 Connection

5.6.1.1 Cable
The communication cable is standard, as described in § Standard connection cable, page 8
5.6.1.2 Switcher sett ings
Switchers Videotec SM42A/Videotec SM82A/Videotec SM84A can be controlled by different types of keyboard
and therefore emulates the respective protocols: to control the switcher with the KS KBK keyboard the MACRO
protocol with baud rate 38400 should be used.
Set the dip switches in the switcher as required (all dips are OFF, with the exception of Macro Protocol, baud
rate 38400, programming).
