CHOICE OF INPUT COUPLING
Choice of input coupling AC (1) or DC (2).
Depending on the signal to be measured, the
input can be connected 'direct' or by means of
a DC voltages. Press the "AC/DC/GND" key
repeatedly to select either AC or DC input
coupling (3).
To measure the "ripple" on a DC
voltage : put the input to 'AC' to limit the
measurement to the AC component of the
signal only.
Note:
At time bases of 0,1s/div and slower, the
•
input coupling is DC-only.
Channel 1 and channel 2 can be set up
•
independently.
SET THE ZERO DC REFERENCE
Switches the scope input to ground and stores
the trace position as a new dc zero reference.
Use this function to find and set the zero DC-
reference trace on the screen (3).
The time base will temporarily be set to
5mV/div while you're setting a new
reference point.
