continuously and the resistance value is displayed. If the measured
resistance exceeds the current range or in case of an open circuit, the
display shows "OL".
Note: Never perform continuity measurements on a live circuit and make
sure all capacitors are completely depleted.
Diode Measurements
Do not perform diode measurements on live circuits.
1. Connect the red test lead to "VΩ

probe to the cathode.
The meter displays the forward voltage drop of the diode. If the diode is
connected with a reversed polarity, the meter displays "OL".
Notes
Never perform diode measurements on a live circuit and make sure all
capacitors are completely depleted.
Measuring diodes that are part of a circuit might produce faulty results.
Consider unmounting from the circuit.
Capacitance Measurements
Do not perform capacitance measurements on live circuits.

4. Connect the test probes to the capacitor and read its value from the
display.
Notes:
Depending on the capacitance, the meter needs 5 to 30 seconds to show
the result. This is normal behaviour.
To increase accuracy when measuring low capacitance values (< 4 nF), first
hold the tips of the test probes together to determine the capacitance value
of the test leads. Subtract this value from the measured value of the circuit.

Frequency Measurements
Do not perform frequency measurements in circuits with
voltages > 250 V.
