Notes and tips
Roast in bake pan with broiling rack in-
verted, with wire rack in position 1 (see
pag. 9).
Roast the same as the whole chicken.
Broiling rack may be in its higher posi-
tion if oven space allows.
Use bake pan without wire rack, lined
with foil, on rack position 1.
Have roast tied for even cooking. Use
broiling rack in position 1 or 2 as oven
space allows (see pag.6).
Roast on bake pan with broiling rack in
position 2, skin side up. Brush with oran-
ge marmalade or honey. Turn and brush
several times until done.
Wash and pierce raw potatoes with fork.
Rub skins with salad oil if desired. Bake
on wire rack in position 1.
Cake:
Place wire rack in position 1. Check pro-
gress 5 - 10 min. before time is up. Let
cool 5 - 10 min. to firm up before remo-
ving from pan or dish.
Cookie:
Place 1 inch apart on 1 or 2 bake pan/s.
For 1 bake pan place wire rack in posi-
tion 1. For 2 bake pans, place racks in
position 3 (see pag.6). Grease sheets if
the recipe directs. Remove promptly to
cooling rack.
