Using Even Feed Foot

This is a special attachment for hard-to-feed
materials.
This foot prevents fabric slipping or puckering by
feeding fabrics with both upper and lower feed
dogs. The even feed foot is great for fine fabrics,
knits, leather and matching plaids.
z Turn off the switch.
x Raise the needle and presser foot.
c Loosen the setscrew and remove the foot
holder.
v Attach even feed foot to the presser bar with
the lever above the needle clamp, and secure
it with the setscrew.
NOTE:
Sew at low speed.

z Push down the quilting guide into the slit on
the even feed foot.

x Slide the quilting guide to the right or left to
match it with the seam spacing.
