You can set the oven control to delay-start the oven in Bake,
Convection Bake or Convection Roast for a specific length
of time and then turn off automatically. Also see the Timed
Baking and Timed Roasting and the Timed Convection
Baking and Timed Roasting sections.

10 Two start options are available when the delayed
For double oven models only, to set the second oven,
select PRESS TO MAKE LOWER OVEN SELECTIONS
or PRESS TO MAKE UPPER OVEN SELECTIONS as
needed and follow the above steps.
1 Touch OPTIONS.
2 Touch DELAY START.
3 For double oven models only, touch UPPER OVEN
or LOWER OVEN to select the desired oven.
4 Two delay start time setting options are available:
• START COOK TIME – Touch and then use the
numbers to set the amount of time before you
want cooking to start. Touch ENTER. For
example, if you want cooking to begin in
2 hours, enter 2, 0 and 0.
• FINISH COOK TIME – Touch and then use the
numbers to set the amount of time beyond the
time of day that you want cooking to end. Touch
ENTER. For example if it is 12:00, your cooking
time is 2 hours and you want to serve dinner at
5:00, then enter 3, 0 and 0.
5 Touch BAKE, CONVECTION BAKE or
CONVECTION ROAST as desired.
6 Touch the numbers to set the desired temperature.
7 Touch ENTER.
8 Touch the numbers to set the desired length of
cooking time.
9 Touch ENTER.

• PRE-HEATED START – Touch to select preheat.
When the delayed start time is reached, the oven
will turn on and preheat will begin. The oven
interior lights will turn on and stay on until
the oven turns off.
The convection fan will turn on during
preheating. The control will signal when the
oven is preheated—this will take approximately
10 minutes. The screen will show the set
temperature.
• COLD START – Touch to select for the oven to
start immediately (without preheating) when the
delayed start time is reached. The oven interior
lights will turn on and stay on until the oven turns
off. The convection fan will also turn on.

The set temperature may be changed by touching
CHANGE TIME-TEMP for the appropriate oven.
The settings may be cancelled by touching CANCEL
for the appropriate oven.
The timer can be set by touching SET KITCHEN
TIMER. See the Kitchen Timer section.
When the delayed start time is reached, the oven will
start and continue to cook for the programmed amount
of time, then shut off automatically, unless the Cook
and Hold feature was set. See the Cook and Hold section.
After cooking is complete the oven will signal and
"MORE TIME" will display for five minutes. Check food
for doneness. If more cooking time is needed, touch
MORE TIME and enter additional cooking time.
If not selected, the screen will automatically clear
in five minutes.
