5. Before putting into operation

5.1 Fitting the safety hood (Fig. 3-4)
Push the guard hood (Fig. 1/Item 8) in the direc-
tion of the arrow onto the motor housing as shown
in Fig. 3. Make sure that it latches in place cor-
rectly! The tab (Fig. 4a / Item L) will snap securely
into place (Fig. 4) in the housing with an audible
click. Only in this position is the guard hood fi tted
correctly and the equipment allowed to be used.
If the tab does not snap into place and projects
upwards (Fig. 4b / Item L), the guard hood must
