Einleitung/Allgemeines
• D iese Bedienungsanleitung dient zur fach- u. sachgerechten
Gerätehandhabung und sollte von allen Gerätebenutzern
nicht nur sorgfältig vor der Erstinbetriebnahme, sondern
auch regelmäßig bei der Bedienung gelesen werden. Beim
Wiederverkauf des Gerätes Bedienungsanleitung stets mit
übergeben.
• R EMA TIP TOP-Thermopress-EM Il Geräte wurden für die
Vulkanisation von mit Rohgummi verfüllten Schadensstellen
an Traktor- und insbesondere EM-Reifen (OTR), sowie das
Anpressen von mehrlagigen Reparaturpflastern konstru-
iert und den dort herrschenden Arbeitsbedingungen ange-
passt.
• D ie Arbeitsgänge für die Bearbeitung von Reparaturstellen
sind der separaten REMA TIP TOP OTR Reparaturanleitung
zu entnehmen.
• D ie in dieser Anleitung aufgeführten Arbeitsschritte, Sicher-
heitshinweise und Beschreibungen entbinden den Betreiber
und/oder Anwender des EM II Gerätes nicht von seinen all-
gemeinen Sicherungs- und Sorgfaltspflichten im Umgang
mit technischen Geräten.
• A lle Angaben dieser Bedienungsanleitung beziehen sich
ausschließlich auf die Verwendung von Original REMA TIP
TOP Material, Zubehör und Ersatzteilen.
• Ä nderungen, die der technischen Weiterentwicklung dienen,
bleiben vorbehalten.
• U m ein gutes Reparaturergebnis zu erzielen, ist neben dem
Einsatz hochwertiger Reparaturmaterialien und Geräte auch
die Beschaffenheit des entsprechenden Reparaturumfeldes
ausschlaggebend:
- Gute Lichtverhältnisse
- Geschultes Personal
- R egelmäßige Reinigung des Arbeitsplatzes
und der Geräte.

Introduction/general information
• T his manual explains the correct handling of the machine.
It should be studied carefully by all users before they put
the machine into operation for the first time, and be read
regularly when the machine is operated. After the sale of
the machine, the manual has to be passed on to the new
owner.
• R EMA TIP TOP Thermopress EM II vulcanizing machines are
specifically constructed for curing injuries filled with uncured
rubber on tractor and especially EM (OTR) tyres as well as
for pressing on multi ply reinforced patches. The machine is
also adapted to the working conditions under which these
operations are carried out.
• F or information about injury preparation, refer to the sepa-
rate REMA TIP TOP OTR Repair Manual.
• B esides the explanations and safety instructions in this
manual, the user/operator of the EM II machine has to take
into account the precautions relating to the use of all techni-
cal devices.
• A ll the information given in this manual exclusively refers to
the use of original REMA TIP TOP materials, accessories
and spare parts.
• W e reserve the right to carry out modifications which we
consider to be technically advantageous.
• A professional repair requires not only the use of high quality
repair materials and tools but also an appropriate working
environment:
- good illumination
- trained staff
- p eriodical cleaning of the work place
and the tools etc.
