interferences are transmitted from the controller if it works with reduced throttle at about
half.
So pull throttle to half and check the distance between modell and transmitter with fully
enganged antenna without noticing disturbances. The distance should be at least 50m for
different positions of the model.
Some tips against rc-control disturbances
If the transmission range is unsufficient the following measures could lead to success:
All cables of servos to the receiver should be installed with maximum distances to mo-
tor, controller, and accu.
The power connections to the motor should be as short as possible. Furthermore they
should be unioned to put up as less space as possible.
Receiver and its accu should be installed with maximum distances to motor, controller,
and accu also.
The connections from receiver-accu to the receiver should be as short as possible.

the accu.

depends on the installation and cooling of the
To restart the motor procede like following:
The controller strikes as long as it has been cooled down enough. Afterwards it can be
activated. To do this you have to pull throttle to off-position. This ensures that the motor
doesn' t start running by mistake after cooling down.
The controller can' tbe activated until it is cooled down. So pull the throttle from off to
maximum several times until the motor starts.

If the
isn' t c ooled down, it doesn' t a ccept the off-position. So you have to ' pump'
several times. If you need the motor power move the throttle stick from off to maximum
several times until the motor starts again. In worst case it doesn' t r estart until landing! In
this case the current is too large and/or the cooling of the controller is too weak!
Especially in helicopters the controller can be stessed very much. For this reason we re-
commend to test the temperature supervision during a flight with a fully charged accu near
the ground. Do this test hovering the helicopter and if possible at high environmental
temperatures. If overtemperature switch off occurs you have to take care about additional
cooling of the power mosfets (look at section "Description of assembly"). Never remove
the shrinking tube of the controller for some cooling measures - danger of short-circuit!
