Just put one toriod over every motor-connection (do not make more turns!!). This can also
be useful using other motors.
Preparations prior to installation
The power connections can be cut if necessary. An extension is not allowed! Only use
high current connectors for accu and motor connection. They must be isolated. We re-
commend to use our connector-set. Only use isolated and polarized connections to insure
that the power can not be connected worng and to avoid short-circuits.
For accu connections you can use the kind of connector you usualy apply for your con-
trollers. We offer 4mm gold connectors. By all means take care about correct polarity.
Red is plus and black is minus. Cable length over all from accu to contoller must not ex-
ceed 30cm. Otherwise use our available interference suppression filter.
Installation into the model
Take care about following:

All cables and connectors must not be layed under mechanical stress.

Take care for good cooling of the power mosfets to avoid activation of the overhea-
ting protection. The better the cooling the more current can flow. Look at our hints in
section "temperature supervision".

Don' t isolate the controller from heat exchange.

Take care for maximum distance between

Install the controller in such a position you can see the LED.
Connection of
After mounting the motor in the model and selecting a place to put the controller you can
connect the controller to the motor.
Connect power connections of motor and controller. With fitting colors the motor rotates
right. For left rotation just flip two connections.
Connect the receiver connection with the correct channel of the receiver.
Several operating modes
The
controller is available in several versions: standard, car and marine. The
¢ ¡ £ ¤ ¥ § ¦ © ¨ ¡
standard version (normal control mode) is used for planes. It allows to use the whole
stick range to drive the motor in a single direction. The car mode of the car and marine
versions allows driving in both directions, forward and backward is possible. The motor is
off in the neutral position of the stick.
Furthermore you can decide if the
stant speed controller (not in car and marine versions).
