Problem solving

If a fault occurs, first check the points listed below.
If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints,
contact the helpline or consult your dealer.
Under no circumstances should you try to repair your humidifier yourself as
this might create harmful situations and will invalidate the guarantee.
Possible cause
Humidifier not (properly) connected
to the mains supply.
Water tank (4) is empty or
water level is too low.
Humidifier is brand new.
Water is dirty or kept too long
in the water tank (4).
Too much water in water basin (12).
Scale on oscillator (13).
Water is dirty or kept too long
in water tank (4).
Water level is too low.
Humidifier placed on unstable surface.
Solution
(Properly) connect the mains lead (12)
to a mains socket and switch on your
humidifier.
Fill water tank (4) with clean water.
Leave water tank (4) opened for at least
12 hours in a cold place.
Clean water tank (4) and refresh water.
Drain water from water basin (12).
Close water tank cap/water outlet (14)
firmly.
Descale oscillator (13).
Clean water tank (4) and refresh water.
Make sure the water tank (4) is sufficiently
filled.
Place humidifier on a smooth, flat and stable
surface.
