the design type DNCKE−... integrated in
the cylinder.

Transport and storage

Take into account the weight of the clamping unit.

Depending on design the clamping unit weighs over 18 kg.
Ensure the following storage conditions:

short storage times and
cool, dry, shaded storage locations protected from corrosion.

Requirements for product use

Warning
Danger of crushing! Uncontrolled advance of piston rod. Piston rods can move
out suddenly and unexpectedly, thereby causing injury to anybody who is in the
positioning range.
S Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand in the positioning range of the moveable mass.
there are no objects lying in the positioning range of the moveable mass.
The operating modes must guarantee that the residual risk is smaller/equal to
the accepted risk (see ISO 14121). The measures for risk reduction are to be
taken in accordance with EN 983, ISO 12100 and ISO 13849−1.
no modifications may be made to the product.
Improper modifications impair the functioning and represent a safety risk.
The functions of the entire system are monitored/checked during use in
accordance with the measures defined in the validation report
(see EN 13849−2).
