16.1 Changing drive belt

The cover (A) and the side cover (B) on the bottom left open
on the drive motor.
Loosen the clamping lever (C) and (D) slightly lift the motor
bracket.
Unscrew the handwheel of the drive spindle.
Remove the 4-zag carrier (9) from the spindle with the fixture.
The grub screw (H) screw from the pulley.
With a mallet, the actuator stem will be struck gently from left
to right from the headstock.
WARNING:
Make sure that the pulley and the pulse disc (G) does not fall down into the
headstock and will be damaged!
Insert new belt and how will proceed in the reverse order of disassembly:
The pulley on the far left and the pulse disc (G) in the pulse (F) are running.
Carefully slide the actuator stem to the right and look for a good fit of the pulley and pulse disc
and pat with mallet.
NOTE: The hole in the drive spindle -for grub screw- can be found through the been unscrewed
grub screw as follows:
1. Insert a suitable awl or drill into the thread of the pulley and thus find the hole in the drive
shaft.
2. the awl / drill exit without moving the pulley and screw the grub screw into the hole on the
drive shaft.
3. Check before tightening if the grub screw is stuck in the drive spindle.
 The V-belts may at the pulley (E) below are placed in the appropriate position 1,2 or 3.
 The handwheel screw again.
 Push the correct insertion of the belts the motor bracket (D) down and with a suitable belt
tension with the clamping lever (C) clamp.
 The side cover (B) and the cover (A) close and fasten.
