Drain the coolant (see Owner's Manual).

Drain the gear oil (see Owner's Manual - Changing gear oil).

Remove the engine (see repair manual). Optional

For the purposes of illustration, the following operations
are shown with the engine, the cylinder head, the cylin-
der and the piston removed. Removal is not absolutely
necessary.

with the seal ring.

Take off the water pump cover.

Remove the form ring.

Take off the cap.

Remove adjusting spring
spring insert.

Take off the clutch cover at the top and slip out the linkage.
