SETTING OF TIME AND DATE
Pull the crown to position (B or C) and turn the crown clockwise
to the date before the date required. Then pull the crown into po-
sition (C or D) and turn the hands past midnight and then to the
required hour and minute. The date will advanced one day. Push
the crown and (screw down) into position (A) to guarantee full
water-resistance.
PRECISION
Precision and average daily rate depend on the activity of the
person wearing the instrument. Magnetic fields (computers,
mobile phones, etc.) may influence the working of a watch. Vio-
lent shocks or knocks - quite common in tennis or golf - should
be avoided to prevent shaking that may loosen certain parts.
MAINTENANCE
All mechanical timepieces should have their movements
cleaned and the oil replaced every 3-5 years. The life span
of any mechanical timepiece will primarily depend upon
both daily care and the recommended routine maintenance.
We strongly encourage you to have your timepiece ser-
viced only at officially authorized Ulysse Nardin Customer
Service departments. For additional information regarding
Customer Service please visit our website : ulysse-nardin.com
