21.1. Safety instrucions for commissioning and operating the gate
system
The initial commissioning may only be carried out by a competent / expert per-
son
Risk of injury during door movement
Damage or injuries can occur in the area of the door system during door mo-
vements.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
x Children and animals must be kept away from the gate system when the
gate is in motion. Children are not allowed to play at the gate system.
x Make sure that neither persons nor objects are in the path of the gate.
x The door should only be operated when there is visual contact with the
x range of movement of the gate exists.
x Monitor the door movement until the door has reached its end position.
x Do not enter or pass through the working area of the door system
during opening and closing of the door!

Do not stand still in the open door system!
Risk of crushing at the closing edges
While the gate is moving, limbs and fingers may be pinched or crushed
between the gate and the main closing edge and the secondary closing edges!
