External audio sources

Using the AUX input at the back of the device,
you can connect external audio sources (such
as portable CD players, MiniDisc players or
MP3 players) to the device.
Activating/deactivating the AUX
input
Before you can use the AUX input at the back
of the device, you must first activate it in the
"AUX" menu. Once the AUX input at the back
of the device is activated, you can select it by
pressing the SRC button ⑩. "REARAUX 1"
then appears in the display ④.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until "AUX1" and the current setting ("ON"
or "OFF") appear in the display ④.
u Turn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to deactivate or activate the
input.
Press the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary, sev-
eral times) to close the menu.
Setting the gain level for the AUX
input
You can adjust the gain level of the external au-
dio source to match the level of the other audio
sources (such as USB and radio).
Note:
You can only adjust the gain level for
the AUX input if this input is selected
as the audio source using the SRC
button ⑩.
