This board contains a micro-controller (or CPU) that controls PROV-CARBON. Its functions include
maintenance of the calendar and internal clock, supervision of the depth cycling process, data processing
and activation and control of the hydraulics.
This board allows communication with the outside world for the purpose of testing and programming.

2.11. Battery

A battery of lithium thionyl chloride cells supplies the energy required to operate PROV-CARBON.

2.12. Accessories

PROV-CARBON float users can be provided with an interface cable and communication software for
programming the float and for checking float functions.
