4.6. Talkover

This device automatically reduces the signal level just at the first voice "hit" of the DJ or
speaker on the microphone plugged to the channel which is assigned to the Talkover. When the DJ
stops talking the music level come up to the initial level. The talkover is enabled through the ON (25)
switch, and has efficiency, EFF (28), main signal level attenuation (between 0 and 30dB) and
recovery time, REC TIME (27), the necessary time for a progressive come back to the original level
(between 0,5 and 2 sec).
The channel(s) assignable to Talkover are internally selectable, see 7.1. The MAC 70i is
factory preset at channel 1.

technician.
